On-site activity options at Camp Lake Fire include boat, canoe and kayak hire, as well as chartered fishing services and a variety of adventure based activities.
*Maroon Dam falls under the Stocked Impoundment Permit Scheme operated by the Queensland Government. A permit is required to fish the dam. The cost is $7.20 per week or $36.05 for the year, which covers the whole family if the children are under 18. Permits are available at the Camp Lake Fire Office or on line at https://www.smartservice.qld.gov.au/services/permits/fishing/apply
You will need to nominate where the funds from your permit will go. Please select Maroon Dam, Boonah. Make sure you take the permit on the water with you. The main catch will be Australian bass which have a legal length of 30cm and maximum take of two per person. Yellowbelly or Golden Perch also have a legal length of 30cm with a maximum of ten per person.

Bait - Live Freshwater Shrimp
$20 Starter pack - includes use of container with portable aerator and 20 shrimp. Additional shrimp are 75 cents each.
$0.75 each. Portable aerators are available for hire at $5 per day.
