We've had an awesome start to the Spring Fishing season. The boys from Churchie were involved in a father & son fishing weekend on 17-18 September. Live shrimp was used for bait and the bass were in a feeding frenzy, right at the base of Camp Lake Fire. The boys were all in years 5 & 6 and some caught 30 bass in a few hours of fishing during the Sunday morning session. All weekend was very productive, with hundreds of bass being caught and released. There were also a few yellowbelly and eel-tailed catfish amongst the catch. I'm also pleased to report the red claw are back on the move. We had quite a haul over the weekend.
